Support in your own home
From personal care and housework to managing finances and taking that much need holiday, we’re here to make sure you can live your life, your way, and in your own home. We work with you to create a framework for support so you get as much, or as little, as you need.
Your support workers
Our support workers are highly trained, so you’ll always get the very best service. You are included in the recruitment of new support workers, so you’ll have a say in who supports you.
Shared support teams
We partner with housing associations to find suitable accommodation for you at one of our six Freespace locations. A team of trained support workers are on hand at a nearby staff base to respond to your calls for assistance via radio. You can also request support at agreed times in the day, so you are in control of how and when you receive support. Shared support is only available to those who require both day and night support.
Support is provided on an individual basis. Depending on your needs, this could be for a few hours each day or 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Staff can also provide assistance, when needed during the night. All of our one-to-one support services are linked to shared teams so support is always available, including in an emergency.
