1. We meet with you

Once we’ve received your application for support, we will allocate a Freespace manager to be your main point of contact. They will contact you to arrange for an informal chat which will be a chance for us to get to know more about you, your needs, and what you would like to get out of Freespace’s support.

2. You visit freespace

If you’d like to get to know more about us and the support we provide, the Freespace manager will organise a visit for you to one of our Freespace services.

3. We work with you to build your support pack

Your support pack will provide an overview of your current circumstances, the support you need, and the service design you are looking for. It also includes information about your funding arrangements and social work assessment.

Before we progress with your application, the Freespace manager will check you are happy with the information in the pack.

4. We review your application

Your application pack will be looked at by a small group of managers to decide whether the criteria is met for Freespace to provide you with support. Your Freespace manager will let you know their decision.

5. A decision on your application is made

If your application is successful, the Freespace manager will contact you to discuss what happens next. New Freespacers will either start planning their support with a service or will be added to our waiting list.

If we are unable to provide the support you need, we will notify you.
